White-headed Robin-Chat
Cossypha heinrichi

A White-headed Robin-Chat perched right above!
The spectacular White-headed Robin-Chat is a relatively recently described species with a very narrow distribution range. The birds persist in remote, shrinking forest pockets and the future looks uncertain, as is the case with several other forest dependent birds in Africa. We enjoyed fantastic views of this gem and quickly became one of the most appreciated birds of the trip.
